Terms of Use
Last updated: 3 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Vaibhav, an individual based in India (“we”, “us”) for using wdmmg.app (the “site”). By using the site, ticking the box before you upload or paying for a report, you agree to them, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who can use the site
- You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if that is higher) and able to make a binding contract.
- You must not use the site where the law does not allow it, or if sanctions laws bar you from receiving our service.
2. What the service is
The site reads a bank, card or payment app statement you upload and shows spending patterns, a score, ideas to spend less and commentary in the tone you choose. It is for general information, education and entertainment.
3. Not financial advice
- We are not a bank, financial adviser, investment adviser, broker, tax adviser, accountant, lawyer, credit counsellor or debt adviser, and we are not registered with or authorised by any financial regulator (for example SEBI or the RBI in India, the FCA in the UK, or the SEC or a state regulator in the US).
- Nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment, to take out or repay any loan or credit, to buy insurance or to make any other financial decision. The ideas in your report are general suggestions about your own spending habits. They do not take your full circumstances into account.
- Reports are made automatically and can be wrong or incomplete, for example if a statement is unclear, lines are missed, a category is wrong or an AI makes a mistake. Always check important figures against your own records.
- The score is a playful summary, not a credit score, and it is not used by lenders.
- We do not act as your adviser or fiduciary. Speak to a qualified professional before making financial decisions. If you are struggling with debt, free and confidential help is available in many countries.
4. AI-written content
Parts of each report, such as the commentary, persona, story-card wording and translations, are written by AI systems from Google and xAI. AI can produce text that is inaccurate, unexpected or not to your taste, and this text is not checked by a person. The numbers are always calculated by our own code. Brutal Roast is satirical humour about spending habits, not about you as a person. Choose another tone if you prefer.
5. Your statement and your data
- Upload only statements that are yours, or that the account holder has allowed you to upload.
- You keep all rights in your data. You allow us to process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Before you upload, remove anything you do not want us to process, or use “Hide other names”. If you clean the file with another tool or AI first, that tool’s own terms and privacy policy apply to it.
- For 48 hours anyone with your report link can open your report, so share it carefully.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- break any law or anyone’s rights, or upload someone else’s data without their permission;
- upload malware or files that are not statements;
- try to open other people’s reports, or probe, scan, attack, overload or disrupt the site;
- scrape the site or use bots or other automated access, apart from accessibility tools;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the service, except where the law allows it;
- try to manipulate the AI features or make them produce harmful content.
We may block access or refuse service to anyone who breaks these rules.
7. Prices and payment
- The basic report is free. Everything else is a one-time payment: unlocking the full report, a Premium or Max pass for one larger report, or an optional tip. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
- Prices by country: before you see a price, we ask which country you are paying from, so we can show the ways to pay that work there. The price depends on that choice and is shown, with the currency you will be charged in, before you pay. Please choose the country you are actually paying from.
- Payments are handled by Razorpay, PayPal or Stripe, depending on which one you choose, under their own terms. Some ways to pay charge in a different currency from your own (for example, PayPal may charge in US dollars); the amount and currency are shown before you pay. Your bank or card issuer may add fees or convert the currency.
- Prices include any taxes we are required to charge, unless shown otherwise.
- Passes: a Premium or Max pass is saved in the browser you bought it on. It is used up by the first report made with it and stops working 30 days after you buy it.
- Tips: a tip is a voluntary payment to support the developer. It does not unlock anything or buy any service.
- Immediate supply: the full report is digital content that unlocks as soon as your payment succeeds, and a pass is ready to use as soon as your payment succeeds. Before you pay, you ask us to supply it straight away and acknowledge that once it unlocks you lose any right to cancel, such as the 14-day right of withdrawal in the EU and UK. This does not affect your rights if the report is faulty or not as described; see our Refund Policy.
- If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us before asking your bank to reverse it, so we can fix genuine mistakes quickly.
8. Availability and changes
We provide the site “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or stop any part of it, including features and prices; a price change never affects a payment you have already made. Reports are deleted after 48 hours and cannot be recovered, so download the PDF if you want to keep yours. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at our providers or network failures.
9. Other services, links and brands
The site relies on other companies’ services and links to other sites, such as cancellation pages and free advice services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Merchant and brand names in your report come from your statement and belong to their owners. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any bank, payment app, merchant or brand mentioned on the site. The logos of AI services on the “Don’t trust us?” buttons belong to their owners and are shown only to identify those services.
10. Our content
The site’s design, code, text and report formats belong to us or our licensors. You may use your own report for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing your story cards. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely.
11. No warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that the site or any report will be accurate, complete, error-free, secure, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and we exclude all implied terms and warranties. Some laws do not allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.
12. Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
- Subject to that, we are not liable for decisions you make based on a report, for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, income, savings, data or opportunity.
- Subject to that, our total liability for all claims relating to the site is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars (or the equivalent in your currency).
- If you live in the EU or UK, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses, because the site is for personal use only.
13. Your responsibility to us
To the extent the law allows, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from claims made because you broke these terms or misused the site, for example by uploading someone else’s statement without permission. This does not apply where consumer law does not allow it.
14. Suspension and ending
You can stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or block access if you break these terms, or to protect the site, our providers or other people. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 3, 11, 12, 13 and 16) continue after you stop using the site.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you use the site or pay applies to that use or payment. We will update the date at the top and highlight important changes.
16. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
- If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts where those laws allow it.
- Before starting a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. If it is not resolved within 30 days, either of us may take it further.
- To the extent the law allows, claims must be brought individually and not as part of a class or representative action.
17. General
- These terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy are the whole agreement between us about the site.
- Ticking a box or clicking a button on the site is a valid way to accept these terms electronically.
- If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- We may transfer this agreement to whoever takes over the site. You may not transfer it without our permission. Nobody else has rights under it.
- If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
- You can reach us through the contact form, where our details are listed.
