Refund Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Your legal rights come first

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If a report you paid for is faulty or not as described, we will fix it, and if we cannot, we will refund you.

What you can pay for

  • Full report: a one-time payment that unlocks one report.
  • Premium or Max pass: a one-time payment for one larger report. The pass is saved in the browser you bought it on, is used up by the first report made with it, and stops working 30 days after you buy it.
  • Tip: a voluntary payment to support the developer. It unlocks nothing.
  • The price depends on the country you choose at checkout and is shown, with the currency you will be charged in, before you pay. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

When we refund

  • You were charged but the full report did not unlock, or the pass you bought did not work.
  • You were charged twice for the same report, pass or tip.
  • The full report could not be produced from a statement we told you was readable.
  • The report was faulty or clearly different from what we described, and we could not fix it.
  • A pass stopped working before you could use it because of a problem on our side, and we could not restore it.

Tips

Tips are voluntary and are not refunded once paid, unless something went wrong with the payment: for example, you were charged twice, charged a different amount from the one you chose, or did not mean to tip. Tell us within 14 days and we will refund it.

Cancelling and the 14-day right (EU, UK and similar)

Because the full report, or a pass, is supplied the moment you pay, you are asked before paying to agree to immediate supply and to acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once it is supplied. If you paid but the report has not unlocked, or the pass did not work, you can still cancel and we will refund you in full. Apart from the cases above, we do not refund a report that unlocked correctly just because of a change of mind, where the law allows this.

How to ask

Use the contact form, choose “Refund request” and include the email address on your payment receipt. Please do not include statement details. Ask as soon as you can, ideally within 14 days of paying; later requests are still considered where the law gives you longer.

We acknowledge requests within 48 hours where possible. Approved refunds are sent within 14 days to your original payment method, in the same currency and amount you were charged, and your bank may take a few more days to show them. Your card issuer may show the charge or refund in your local currency, and exchange rates can differ.

For rupee payments, complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month, in line with India’s Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Disputed charges

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first. We fix genuine mistakes quickly, usually faster than a bank dispute.
